OPTEX FA CO., LTD. (headquarters: Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto; President: Tatsuya Nakajima), a leading manufacturer of industrial sensors, has established OPTEX FA INC. as a sales subsidiary handling factory automation-related products in the North America region, with operations beginning April 2, 2018. OPTEX FA INC. will serve as the first local subsidiary of OPTEX FA CO., LTD. in the United States.
As with advancements in Europe and China, OPTEX FA INC. will allow us to fully enter the US factory automation market, where future growth is expected. OPTEX FA INC. will also provide an expanded sales network, development of new markets including the automobile industry (acquisition of new customers), and development of on-site proposal-based business, all allowing for expanded overall sales.
