The thickness of surface‑polished fine ceramics is measured using the CD2H laser displacement sensor. The thickness can be measured at five locations simultaneously: the four corners and the center of the ceramic plate. Using the 30 mm short‑range type for the four corners and the 130 mm middle‑range type for the center, measurement at all five locations is possible at the same time. With a repeatability of up to 0.25 μm, the CD2H provides highly accurate measurement. The CD2H also supports IO‑Link, and by using the dedicated free software, the measured data can be logged immediately.
