Easy-to-read high-definition OLED display

Supporting English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese
- not offered by conventional 7-segment LED displays - the high-definition OLED display makes it easy to confirm settings even without a manual, helping to reduce setup time.

Larger buttons for secure operation

Larger buttons with the tilted top shape help operators easy setting of parameters.

Usability similar to D4RF Series

The button layout, menu structure, teaching methods, and various other operations are identical to D4RF Series, renowned for its ease of use.

Cross-talk prevention

When installing the D12R Series side by side, setting each Fiber-Optic Sensor's light emission frequency to a different value prevents malfunctions caused by cross talk.
This function supports up to four units.

  • The response time will change depending on the light emission frequency.

External input

Selectable external input include Teach input, Emitter off, Zero reset, and Trigger.

Zero Reset

Executing Zero reset sets the current received light amount as zero.
Use this function when, for example, you want to set the reference received light amount as zero or you want to set no object present as zero but the actual received light amount is not zero.

Trigger

Trigger input enables logic operations (AND processing) directly on the Fiber-Optic Sensor, allowing synchronization and detection without a PLC, even when trigger and detection sensors are both required.

Output timing via Trigg

Output is enabled only while the external input is ON.
When a timer is set, output timing follows the timer settings.

Enhanced detection in a long distance

High-power LEDs combined with a lens designed for high efficiency increased the sensing distance.
This ensures detection that is stable and resistant to dust and contamination.
