Detecting overlapping silicon wafer

The D4IF fiber‑optic sensor with the NF-TW01 fiber-optic cable can detect whether a solar silicon wafer is single or overlapping. It uses an LED emitting at a special wavelength of 1450 nm, which is moderately transmitted through the wafer. Because the amount of transmitted light varies depending on the wafer thickness, distinguishing between one and two wafers is easy.
