Detecting containers for powdered glass

The D4RF‑TD fiber‑optic sensor detects the presence of containers filled with powdered glass. Because powder is dispersed in the subsequent mixing process, it can adhere to the sensor’s optical surface and reduce the received light amount, causing detection errors. The ultra‑high‑speed D4RF‑TD has two outputs, allowing Output 2 to be used for monitoring decreases in received light. This makes it possible to determine maintenance timing in advance and helps reduce downtime.
