Detecting edge of metal foil rises on the roller

The CD22‑15x laser displacement sensor measures lifting at both edges of copper or aluminum foil. Although sensors are normally installed perpendicular to the running direction, in cases where the lifting direction introduces measurement error, the sensor is mounted parallel to the foil movement to avoid the influence. By controlling the optimal tension, the foil can be conveyed without edge lifting, greatly improving yield.
