Checking for the presence of a chamfered edge on the glass
The CVSE1-RA all-in-one vision sensor is used to detect whether glass edges are chamfered. When the chamfered area and CVSE1 are positioned parallel to each other, light is reflected strongly from the chamfered area, allowing the chamfered area to be detected. The CVSE1 has a wide field of view, so a rough pass-through position is acceptable. Unlike a laser sensor, it does not require the spot light to be precisely aimed at the chamfered area. Since precise positioning is unnecessary, it can achieve detection without guides that could cause breakage.
