Measuring axis precision of the large diameter drill bit
Measuring the axis precision of large‑diameter drill bits with the CDX Series. When the axis of the drill bit is shifted, accurate machining is not possible. By measuring the axis precision with the CDX, predictive maintenance of machining accuracy becomes possible. The sampling period is 12.5 µs, which is eight times faster than our conventional displacement sensors, meaning that it can measure 80,000 times per second and can accurately detect displacement even when the object rotates at high speed.
