Detecting parts amount remaining in parts feeder

The start and stop of supplying parts to the bottom of the parts feeder bowl are controlled using the C‑MOS laser sensor BGS‑HDL. Because the BGS‑HDL has two control outputs, when the remaining amount of parts becomes low, Output 1 can be turned ON as a supply‑start signal, and when the amount becomes excessive after supply starts, Output 2 can be turned ON as a stop signal. This makes it possible to handle applications that previously required two sensors with only one sensor.
