Detection of liquid level in semi-transparent container

The liquid level is detected from the outside of a semi-transparent container using the D4IF-T fiber-optic sensor specialized for water detection that employs an infrared LED as a light source with a wavelength (1.45 μm) which is absorbed in water and the NF-TW01 fiber-optic cable (through-beam type) specialized for water detection. Using two fiber-optic sensors, detection of full (injecting stops), within specified fill range, and absence of liquid (injection starts) is possible. Detection from outside the semi-transparent container means replacing the nozzle is unnecessary, allowing for liquid levels to be detected even when injecting or discharging liquid.
