Parallelism in the compression process of base‑isolation rubber is measured using the CD5 laser displacement sensor. Because the laser‑based CD5 provides a wider measurement range than contact‑type sensors, measurement can be performed without changing the installation position even when the rubber height varies due to product changeover.
