Measuring thickness deviation of rubber for aseismic base isolation
Parallelism in the compression process of base‑isolation rubber is measured using the CD5 laser displacement sensor. Because the laser‑based CD5 provides a wider measurement range than contact‑type sensors, measurement can be performed without changing the installation position even when the rubber height varies due to product changeover. This eliminates wasted setup time while enabling high‑accuracy parallelism measurement.
