Checking direction of the individual package by checking printed characters
The CVS4‑RA character recognition vision sensor checks whether the expiration date is printed correctly. For the first line, it verifies the printed date; for the second line, it counts the number of characters in the lot number to prevent incorrect packages. It can also verify whether packages are oriented correctly before entering the case packer by recognizing printed characters.
