There are lot of varieties of PWB in thickness, size, with holes, etc. though, thru-beam type screen fiber NF-TZ08 can detect any of these PWBs stably. Single sensor solution can detect any PWBs stably.

Laser transparent object sensor DR-Q150T can detect glass plate through view-port in the vacuum chamber. Reflector sheet for this sensor must be attached in the chamber though, detecting glass plate without expensive displacement sensor can be realized.

C-MOS laser BGS sensor BGS-HL25T2 can detect level difference of PWB. When the PWB is not sitting correct place on the plate, the level will be higher.
Resolution of BGS-HL25T2 is 0.8mm so it can detect small level difference even from 150mm distance above the PWB. Any color and surface condition of the PWB can be detected correctly.

BGS sensor BGS-Z10 can detect PC boards even if its color varies.

Sleeve type side-view fiber cable NF-TV02 has narrow sleeve, φ1mm, and detecting small object in limited narrow space is possible.

Flexible, bending radius: 4mm, fiber cable NF-DR01 can be attached at the robot arm and detect small object at any position the robot arm locates.

BGS-Z10 can detect existence of PWB in the drying process after coating.
BGS-Z10 is good for detecting objects with various colors and also angled objects.
