Cylindrical object outer diameter measurement
The outer diameter of cylindrical objects is measured using the TD1 Series. Although the TD1 has a maximum measurement range of 10 mm, outer‑diameter measurement is possible even for objects larger than φ10 mm by using two TD1 units and performing calculations with the amplifier unit. This enables low‑cost outer‑diameter measurement without the need for expensive dimension‑measuring instruments.
