Feeding Length of Non-Woven Fabric
Control of the feed amount for non-woven fabric is possible by using the CD22-100AM compact laser displacement sensor to count creases.
Because crease heights differ between product types, photoelectric sensors need to be adjusted for each type.
With a laser displacement sensor, feed amounts are controlled based on the analog output waveform.
This eliminates the need to adjust the sensor each time the product type is changed.
Model: Compact Laser Displacement Sensor CD22 Series
Bottle cap float detection
The TD1 series of through-beam edge sensors measures the tightness of bottle caps.
Because an insufficiently tightened cap will be taller than usual, inspection is possible thanks to a line-shaped laser. Moreover, the TD1 series uses a through-beam laser, so colored or patterned caps can be measured with no adverse effects.
Model: Through-beam Edge Sensor TD1 Series
Measurement of length of vibrating architectural model
Measurement of length of vibrating architectural model by laser displacement sensor CDX series. Because of high speed measurement, 80,000 times a second, measurement of subtle length difference of the object under high speed vibration testing is possible.
It also has storage feature that enables storing of measurement data up to 100,000 points and monitoring of the data and downloading of the data as CSV file is easily possible.
Model: Ultra High-Accuracy Laser Displacement Sensor CDX Series
Measuring thickness and width of building board
Measuring thickness and width of building board by multiple CD22 series.
By utilizing displacement sensor amplifier CDA, you can setup those CD22 sensors very easily and also calculation of thickness or width can be done easily by CDA. You can also connect CD22 to Mitsubishi MELSEC-Q/L series through combination of CDA and CC-Link communication unit UC1 series without any ladder programing. Because it's iQSS compliant, you can set and read setup value, backup of it in short time.
Model: Small laser displacement sensor CD22 Series + CDA + UC1
Measuring position of protruding part of building material
Measuring position of protruding part of building material by two CD33 sensors.
By utilizing control unit UQ1 series, you can connect two CD33 sensors to Mitsubishi MELSEC-Q series. Setup can be done automatically without any ladder programs and also you can get measurement result from PLC CPU easily. An application program "UQ1 Navigator" for setup is available for free of charge.
Model: C-MOS laser displacement sensor CD33 Series + UQ1-02
Measuring slit width on the carton
Checking if the slit width on the carton is correct or not by LS series.
It can measure X axis in 25μm resolution so you can check the slit width accurately.
Model: 2D displacement sensor LS-100CN
Inspection if the plastic part is stuck on the board correctly or not
Inspection if the plastic part is stuck on the board correctly or not by LS series.
It can measure the gap when the plastic part is not stuck on the board correctly very precisely even if the position varies in the measuring range, 27mm Max., in X axis.
Model: 2D displacement sensor LS-100CN
Inspection of edge part of plywood
Inspection of edge part of plywood by LS series.
Standard displacement sensor just measure distance to the point though, LS series can measure profile of the object precisely so it can check the shape of edge part of the plywood.
Model: 2D displacement sensor LS-100CN
Checking evenness of grinding stone
Checking evenness of grinding stone by multiple CD33 series.
You can connect multiple CD33 sensors to Mitsubishi MELSEC-Q series through control unit UQ1-02 (two CD33 to one UQ1-02) without any ladder programs and setup so installation will be done in short time.
Model: Displacement sensor control unit UQ1-02
Positioning of metal parts by detecting small hole
Positioning of metal parts can be done by CD22 detecting small hole on the parts.
The spot size is very small, less than 1mm, so it can detect small hole on the parts and control position of it. Repeat accuracy of CD22 is 1μm so it can detect shallow hole.
Model: Small laser displacement sensor CD22 Series
Detecting edge of metal foil rises on the roller
Detecting edge of metal foil rises on the roller by CD22 series.
Normally, the sensor should be installed right angle to the direction of the foil runs though, in this case, the sensor to be installed parallelly to that direction to detect the foil rises. It can also help controlling tension of the foil.
Model: Small laser displacement sensor CD22 Series
Measurement thickness of building board
CD33-250 can measure distance in 100~400mm range even if the material changes.
Model: C-MOS laser displacement sensor CD33-250
Controlling level of melting glass
Controlling level of melting glass utilizing long measurement range displacement sensor CD5-W2000.
Its measurement range is 2000 +/- 500 mm so it won't get affection from the heat created by the melting glass by easy cooling box which would help reducing cost.
* Cooling box to be arranged by user
Model: High accuracy displacement sensor CD5-W2000
Detecting double boards
Checking if the board is fed correctly not double or not by multiple CD22 sensors.
Because CD22 series is small enough, you don't have to find big space to install. CD22 can measure distance stably even if the object is PWB or metal or any other things.
Model: Small laser displacement sensor CD22 Series
Measuring thickness of plaster board
Measuring thickness of plaster board by CD5 series.
By utilizing control unit UQ1-01, you can connect multiple CD5 sensor heads to Mitsubishi MELSEC-Q series without CD5 amplifier and any ladder programs. Then, you can measure not only thickness of the plaster board but also evenness by measurement results from multiple sensor heads.
