Detecting caps sitting incorrectly
Checking if caps on beverage packages are sitting at correct position or not can be possible by compact housing type displacement sensor CD22.
By utilizing amplifier unit for displacement sensor CDA series, calculation with measurement values from two sensors can be possible easily.
CD22 sensors can be connected to Mitsubishi Electric's PLC through CC-Link communication unit UC1 series which is applicable to iQ Sensor Solution (iQSS). Then, you can monitor the measurement value and reading/writing settings of the sensors easily by iQSS.
Model: Small Displacement Sensor With Digital Display Type CD22 Series
Controlling joint position of the package
Controlling joint position of the package by LS series.
Because the LS series can measure height and width in X axis at one time, you can check the joint is at correct position or not and control the position. You don't have to install multiple sensors for the application.
Model: 2D displacement sensor LS-100CN
Detecting thickness of carton
CD33 can cost effectively detect thickness of carton for palletizing cans and plastic bottles regardless color.
Model: C-MOS laser displacement sensor CD33-30
Checking overlap of sheet in the cap
It measures difference between one sheet and two sheets in the cap. It can measure regardless the color.
Model: High-performance Multi-unit Laser Displacement Sensors CD5-30
