Its measurement range is 2000 +/- 500 mm so it won't get affection from the heat created by the melting glass by easy cooling box which would help reducing cost.

Controlling level of melted chocolate paste by CD33 series.
CD33 series can measure the distance to the chocolate surface even if the surface is reflective. CD33 has two control outputs with individual threshold so you can get signal that show two different level from one CD33 series.

CD5-W2000 can measure level of melted metal from long distance 2500mm maximum to prevent heat.
