Controlling joint position of the package by LS series.
Because the LS series can measure height and width in X axis at one time, you can check the joint is at correct position or not and control the position. You don't have to install multiple sensors for the application.

General purpose laser sensor won't be able to detect IC chips on the tray because of small difference of reflection from them though, CD22 will be able to detect IC chips correctly by measuring distance to IC chips and tray.
