Counting the Number of Dropped Pouches
Using the NF-TS40 screen Fiber-Optic Cables makes it possible to count the number of small pouches dropping from a chute.
Since detection is performed while the pouches are falling, variations in the passage position of the pouches are inevitable. However, the NF-TS40 with the collimated 40 mm width light screen ensures stable detection even if the pouches do not pass a specific position.
Model: Fiber-Optic Cables NF-TS40
Overlap detection of transparent containers
The DR-Q digital laser transparent object sensor monitors overlapping transparent containers. Generally, detection is based on height. However, if the difference in height is small, or the line contains mixed objects, height-based detection will be difficult.
With the DR-Q, detection of overlapping containers is possible based on even slight differences in receiving light levels. This makes detection possible even with transparent objects, which proved difficult to detect with conventional models.
Model: Retro-reflective type transparent laser sensor DR-Q150T
Detecting registration mark on tube package
Detecting registration mark on the tube for positioning.
Automatic selection from three types of light source (R.G.B) makes detecting marks with various colors possible.
Model: Color / Mark sensor DM-18TN
Detecting registration mark on package film
Automatic selection from three types of light source (R.G.B) detects varieties of register mark colors.
Model: Color / Mark sensor DM-18TN
Detecting object in film package
Infrared light detects object in film package even the film is printed and provide trigger to cutting machine so it cut the film at the correct position.
Model: Built-in amplifier sensor JT-H1000N
Checking existence of chocolate in the pillow packaging machine
Linear image sensor on light receiving element stably detect chocolate bar without any influence of its uneven surface.
Model: C-MOS Laser sensor BGS-DL10TCN
Edge guiding transparent film
Use two DSR-800 sensors located on both sides of the film.
The sensor is sensitive enough to detect a slight change in the received light.
Model: Laser sensor head DSR-800
End Detection of Transparent Film
Z3D-W20, which is wide angle diffuse reflective sensor, detects the end of transparent film with detection area more than 10 times the diffuse-reflective type.
This wide detection area enables detection with minimal influence from film wrinkles and variations, even without the use of a reflector.
Model: Low Cost / Small Type Z3D-W20
Detecting the edge of package (three sides sealing)
Screen Fiber-Optic Cables NF-TS40 detects the edge of package for sealing.
As light beam of NF-TS40 is collimated in 40mm width, stable detection is available without any influences form the shape and height of package edge.
Model: Screen beam type Fiber-Optic Cables NF-TS40
Detecting overlapped plastic bags
Transparent detection type, digital laser sensor DR-Q150T detects overlapped transparent plastic bags. This highly-accurate feature prevents downtime due to feeding overlapped plastic bags.
Model: Transparent detection type digital laser sensor DR-Q150T
Detecting film for binding
Transparent detection type digital laser sensor DR-Q can detect film for binding. It is laser sensor with digital display and detect transparent thin film stably. It also can detect in 4 meter range.
Model: Transparent detection type digital laser sensor DR-Q Series
Detecting edge of film for alignment
Screen Fiber-Optic Cables NF-TS40 can be utilized for web alignment control.
It has 40mm width screen beam and in that area the sensor can detect edge of the film. Fiber-Optic Sensors with analog output D2RF-TA can feedback the position of the edge by analog output.
Model: Screen Fiber-Optic Cables NF-TS40
