The CD5-85 laser displacement sensor is used to detect a sheet metal edge inside a roll of sheet metal from the difference in height so a product label can be affixed. The CD5-85 provides repeatability of 1 µm, so even the slightest difference in height of thin sheet metal is detected without fail.
